Home: An Unfinished Project" was a performance-based exhibition created by 10 people including me in Kunstinstituut Melly in Rotterdam. We were an international group, coming from completely different backgrounds, having different ideas of what home means to us. Based on this diversity, we created our own neighborhood in which we learned, laughed, played, screamed, danced, cried, listened. Being happy, sad, uncomfortable, slow, curious, supportive. Not alone, but always together with the audience, breaking down hierarchies and distinctions between "performers" and "visitors". Everyone was watching, everyone was participating, everyone was an essential part of this neighborhood.
